About Me

Mr.Costello: My name is Eddie Costello, from Melbourne, Australia. I first arrived in Taiwan in 2004, and I have since settled in Hsinchu and started a family. I originally trained to become a secondary school teacher, and during this time I earned a degree in Media Studies at Deakin University, Melbourne. I was later invited back to the university to lecture in television and video production, which reignited my desire to teach. I became interested in teaching abroad, and I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to travel extensively, before finally settling in Taiwan. After a number of years teaching in Taiwan, I decided to return to my studies, and acquired a Master’s degree in Education from The College of New Jersey. I have been teaching at Hsinchu International School since 2011.
